Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who welcomed a bouncing baby boy on Monday morning. Like most people, i was glued to my news apps for any updates on the royal baby and so it was lovely to hear of the great news. Katherine was admitted to St Mary hospital on Monday morning and by 11 am she welcomed her baby and by the evening she left through that famous door. The new mum looked absolutely lovely as if she had just returned from a relaxing  holiday. Katherine was wearing a beautiful red dress with a white collar and even managed to wear a pair high heeled shoes. I accept that the duchess has a lot of help as it comes with her role and status but lets not forget, she is still human. Most new mothers leave the hospital with cosy clothes and comfortable shoes away from the public eye but Katherine has to keep perfoming her duties regardless so well done super Kate!

The new baby is such a cutie pie just like his brother Prince George and sister Princess Charlotte. The baby has not yet been given a name but i am sure whatever name they give him will be befitting. It would have been nice to name him George as he was born on St Georges day but erm..that is already taken by his big brother oh dear.

Boys will be boys..even a prince George:)

On the news this week the Duchess of Cambridge Katherine gave a talk to a group of school children at St.Matthew’s primary school in Westminster. According to Daily Mail, the Duchess attended with with princes William and Harry shortly after attending the commonwealth service. The Duchess told the children that prince George now has a scooter and he loves to speed and that she cannot keep up with him…But don’t worry about his royal boisterousness because the Duchess also said that baby sister princess Charlotte keeps him in check(typical baby sister behaviour eh).

The scooter is a lovely thing but my goodness when your child is using it you often find yourself panicking or running after them in panic. The whole experience can be stressful for parents too especially when you are doing the school run and perhaps have a buggy and  another baby plus you are surrounded by traffic and roadwork .

Regardless of the panic, it is great to see prince George having a wale of a time on his scooter and long may the fun continue.
